Overall numbers remain lower compared to the standard 8 line, reflecting the narrower service window: ridership counts are recorded only between 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM inbound, rather than across the full day (6 AM–11 PM).

Scheduling and Operations

• Inbound service: 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM (both 8AX and 8BX)

• Outbound service: 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM (8AX); 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM (8BX)

These limited schedules target peak commute hours, helping to relieve crowding on the local 8 line and improve travel times for riders commuting long distances for work and school.
